Syed Sallauddin Pasha revered as the father of Indian Therapeutic Theatre for persons with disabilities. He received of National Award from the President of India for outstanding performance in the field of empowerment of persons with disabilities. Pasha innovative work for disabled people has won a  Limca Book of World Records and Guinness Book of World Records.

 A dynamic force in discovering potential and nurturing talent in people with disabilities, he is professionally trained actor, dancer, director, choreographer, dance movement Therapist and Social Activist. His pioneering efforts have won National and International recognition. For the past 30 years, through his innovative methodology, direction and choreography, he has efficiently executed 100 Mega Therapeutic Theatre Productions bringing hope, confidence and zest to the people with disabilities around the world.

Syed Sallauddin Pasha's holistic dance-theatre productions ‘Women of India – from 6000 BC to 2,000 AD’ with 100 hearing-impaired children and adults, ‘Ramayana On wheels’ with 200 children and adults with disabilities, ‘Durga’ based on Purulia Chhau, ‘Martial Arts On Wheels’ based on Manipur’s Thang-Ta, Sufi Dance On Wheel Chairs, Bharatanatyam On Wheels are first of its kind in the world.

The year 2002, he directed Europe’s biggest therapeutic theatre project ‘Ramayana’ with 108 special children and adults from Finland which was performed for International theatre festival - under normal people category. This unique project threw up remarkable possibilities of dealing with cross-cultural people with special needs.  As a therapist, he has successfully conducted thought-provoking therapeutic theatre workshops for people with disabilities, special educators, therapists, mental health professionals, universities, special needs institutions in India and Abroad.

He was the first one to conduct a therapeutic workshop for the Tsunami victims (Andaman, Nicobari, Katchal and Ranchi tribes) at Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Therapeutically it has helped the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsunami to overcome stress and other fears they had with Tsumani. This project was commissioned by UNESCO. Infusing new creative energy in every project, Guruji Pasha uses both his heritage of healing, his training in classical Indian dance and theatre to unleash the energy - every microcosmic cell of the body.

He has presented therapeutic theatre productions to Former President of India Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad and His Majesty, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni-Al Marhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail, King of Malaysia, and his Queen, Former Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh, President of India Smt. Devisingh Patil, Kenyan Nobel Laureate Wangari Mathai, UPA Chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi, former Delhi’s Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dikshit, Special performance for MP’s at House of Commons in London.

Pasha has invented Sufi Dances on Wheelchairs, Bharatanatyam On Wheelchairs, Martial Arts (Swords Fights on Wheelchairs), Yoga On Wheels, Bhagawad Gita, Ramayana on wheels, Bollywood on wheels, Drums on wheels, Light is Life to mention a few.
